The Indian Animal Welfare Network is a social initiative that aims to facilitate a harmonious relationship between humans and animals in ever-changing urban spaces. Through interactive modalities and engaging resource creation, attempting to educate and spread awareness, we aim to prepare community members with the best practices through which they can assist our strays, and improve their quality of life! We are on a mission– to protect our furry friends!
Community members may often be empathetic and compassionate to the animal cause but may lack a comprehensive understanding of how to help. It is never too late to learn! So we developed original educational resources such as the “Tails of Adoption Activity Book”, and the “Adopt Don’t Shop Campaign” in consultation with veterinary professionals to disseminate expert knowledge about veterinary first aid and animal welfare through engaging activities and educational pamphlets. The Indian Animal Welfare Network wishes to action change by partnering with Frendicoes to bolster their on-ground efforts. We participated in fundraising activities, which helped develop a Welcome Home Donation Kit, aiding pet parents with all the necessary materials to care for their newly adopted animals.
